Resume:

Dr. Xia Li, Principal Investigator and Laboratory Head, Ph.D. Plant stress physiology and molecular genetics.

Dr. Li received her Ph.D. from Purdue University in 2001, she then went to Vector Tobacco Inc., where she worked as a research scientist and group leader. She joined the faculty at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004.

Direction:

Her research focuses on: The molecular mechanisms of plant responses to abiotic stresses, such as drought and salinity. The laboratory is particularly interested in molecular genetics of developmental plasticity of root architechture system.
